Vampirella once again joins forces with Dracula and Eva in order to confront a cult intent on releasing one of the Ancient Ones. First defeating a Wendigo and then an army of were-bears they attempt to thwart the prophecy that the ceremony would be attended by a supreme vampire only to find that there is no ceremony! They realise they have all been tricked to a false location but take comfort that as they were not at the real ceremony the prophecy will not be fulfilled.
A bit thin on plot but you can't fault the book for content. Half the pages are devoted to gory combat with various unworldly creatures and the art of Dietrich Smith really sets the tone.
The final conclusion is one of those temporal paradoxes that are so popular in Star Trek and Doctor Who.
