American high school teens are being killed by demonic Puritans. At that school is Fluffy, the Vampire Killer, and her teenage entourage as well as a new locum teacher, Miss Normandy. Vampirella and Fluffy fight but eventually realise that they are on the same side and destroy the Puritans.
This is an obvious and blatant parody of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer film and TV series. If you have watched more than one episode of Buffy you will recognise all the characters in this book.
On the good side this is obviously a book not to be taken seriously. It is an enjoyable, though fairly predictable, romp with a large tongue wedged firmly cheek.
I have to say that I do like the cover. Nick Bradshaw's rendition of Fluffy and Vampirella's faces is so expressive.
