Bound [Writer - Brandon Jerwa : Art - Eman Casallos]

Vampirella hears of and investigates a cult that worships her! Things don't go well for Vampirella or the cult.

A bit of an unusual story with some clever twists. Vampirella uses a power we rarely see her use - a glamour.

Bloodsucker Dusk [Writer - Mark Rahner : Art - Joe St. Pierre]

An eager young fanboy shows Vampirella the latest hit vampire film series and takes her to a small town hosting a convention for the fans of the films and books.Vampirella fits in perfectly as the town is full of cosplayers, some dressed as her. A group of other vampires attend the convention to feed but fall foul of Vampirella. The fans who witness the bloody melee think it is all an act put on for their benefit.

Vampirella and Pantha: Lust [Writer - Jay Faerber : Art - Louis Parados/Dub] (reprinted from Halloween Special 2004)
Something's in the air, something terrible, something overriding reason and possessing even the strongest willed. Vampirella and Pantha meet up with odd consequences. Pantha is an unknowing carrier for a "lust" virus which makes her fall in love with Vampirella (very understandable), and has strange effects on the World's End Circus personnel.

Bloodsucker Dusk is obviously based on a real life vampire tv/film series - possibly the Vampire Diaries (I'm sure someone will let me know one day).

Mark Rahner is obviously a long time Vampirella fan as there is a moment when Vampirella rescues a young girl in a Vampirella outfit from the bad guys which (IMHO) is a reference to Heidi Saha. In fact there are quite a few references to the Vampirella of the Warren and Harris years.

Joe St. Pierre's art is a bit quirky but quite enjoyable. His rendition of Vampirella is quite a way from the mainstream but it works really well in the context of the story.

It is nice to see a back up story, even though it is a reprint from an edition published eight years previously.

Unknown as yet [Writer - Mark Rahner : Art - Randy Valiente]

Vampirella meets "Baxter" - a Miami based serial killer who only kills other killers.

This seems to be a very thinly disguised attempt at "Vampirella meets Dexter". Dexter, the gory and disturbing TV series, has a large following and I am sure many people will easily notice the similarities.
