Apart from everything else, Louis is a fairly regular (and prolific) artist on eBay.
I have watched many Paradis auctions come and go, and initially thought that his work was a little "cartoony". However, I managed to get hold of a piece of original art by Paradis (or Para Di which he uses as his signature), and have to admit that I was very pleasantly surprised. I would describe the piece of Paradis art that I have as "exquisite". The scans on eBay (and on this site) certainly don't do his art any favours. You have to hold it in your hand and look at it "in the flesh" to really appreciate his skill.
