Issue #1 (September 2003)Harris Scarlet Legion Cover - Dawn Brown $free Jay Company Comics (2006) Various Secrets and Lies A brief breakdown of Vampirella's origins covering the original Drakulon (planet) story and the Vengeance of Vampirella origin where Lilith creates Vampirella in a quest for redemption - then gets crushed by the hand of God. The Early Years A short resume of Vampirella's place in Warren publishing; covering Forrest J. Ackerman's initial vision of Vampirella as an alien vampire, and Archie Goodwin's hand at the tiller directing her into the clutches of the mad god Chaos and Dracula. José Gonzalez A couple of paragraphs on the impact José Gonzalez had on Vampirella and some examples of his work. Amanda Conner Again, a short piece of text in support of Amanda Conner's vision of Vampirella and some sample artwork. The Gallery A variety of examples of artwork from some of the Harris artists, interspersed with a few choice Gonzalez examples from the Warren years. The original Vampology was a free magazine given out as part of the welcome pack when you joined the official Vampirella fan club, the Scarlet Legion. For someone new to Vampirella, or someone who knew little or nothing of Vampirella before the turn of the century, it is a mildly informative booklet. It is a shame that it is in Black and White as some of the art displayed has more impact in colour. At the 2006 Wizard World Comic Convention in Philadelphia, Jay Company Comics produced two limited edition convention specials and a very limited Museum Edition. These featured a stunning cover by Mike Choi on an extra wrap around cover over the original.
