Vampirella is dead (at the hands of Mistress Nyx) and Pendragon is flicking through
Vampirella's journal. Touching a single drop of Vampirella's blood on the page, Pendragon
is mystically transported into the journal and sees the history of Vampirella up to the
stage of her death.
A strange but compelling comic book. After the introduction the reader is treated to a
series of double page spreads by a whole series of different artists.
The story just about hangs together as Pendragon supplies a running commentary on the stunning
artwork in each double page spread.
Intended, I presume, as a summary of Vampirella to date, it fulfills it's function - barely.
As a collection of Vampirella pin-ups, it excels.
