The Furies
Gotham City is plagued by a series of cat related thefts. The police suspect Selina
Kyle, the Catwoman, but she is being set up. Serendipitously, Vampirella is in Gotham and
they team up to track down the shape shifting thief.
They eventually trace the thief back to the lair of Oswald Cobblepot (the Penguin).
The thief turns out to be a private investigator called Pantha, who is trying to trace some
stolen cat artifacts for her client.
Catwoman is way out of her league when faced with Vampirella and Pantha, though she does
provide valuable local knowledge and burglary expertise. The Pantha character is not the
same Pantha from the Warren/Harris universe, though very similar.
Pendragon makes a welcome appearance and there is some lighter moments in the story which
work well.
Not the best of the crossovers, but worth a read and a must for the Vampirella/ Catwoman
/ Batman collector.
