Sherry Leak

I suppose it is a woman's prerogative to change her mind, but I just wish Sherry would stick to one name!!!

Her art has been variously distributed under the names of SAL, SHERRY LEAK, RACCOON-EYES and COONIC ART, which makes it interesting trying to keep track of all her work.

Sherry is from a military family so she has lived everywhere from Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Japan, to New Jersey where she trained at the Joe Kubert School of art.

With a longtime interest in manga and anime art it is no surprise that Sherry's depictions of Vampirella are a little "different" from what we have come to expect from the mainstream of comic book art. Having said that, her artwork is a breath of fresh air and shows great promise for the future.

I'm sure that I will eventually have a piece of her work in my personal collection.
