David Farley

I noticed David Farley on eBay in the early part of 2006, under the user name of jakesdad007, though he has been around on eBay since 2004.

He has done a number of renditions of Vampirella (and other comic book characters), which he assets are in the style of Bruce Timm. Personally, I feel he has developed his own distinctive "anime-style" of art, and doesn't need to allude to Bruce Timm.

I have managed to get hold of some of his pieces and I do enjoy his version(s) of Vampirella. I feel he has managed to capture a mixture of the fun side of Vampirella as well as the erotic.

He has a softness and warmth that makes you feel good when you look at the artwork.

Hopefully, I will be able to add a few words from David Farley himself on his take on Vampirella at a later stage ...
