Garrett Blair

Garrett is a multi-talented artist from Nashville, TN. Apart from his pen and ink artwork, he is also an accomplished photographer, film maker and a gamer of some skill. Not content with founding a Quake Clan he has also designed a number of Quake mods including skins and textures.

Sometimes you see a picture and just fall in love with it instantly. So it was with the depiction of Vampirella at the top right below - click on the thumbnail to see a larger version and you'll understand!

Garrett's art may seem a little simplistic at first glance, but sometimes less really is more! While others go into every minute detail to achieve photo realism he manages to create breath catching images with deceptively simple "brush strokes".

I certainly hope to feature a lot more of Garrett's work on this site, and I have my own Garrett Blair Vampirella commission (top row, middle) .

I know it's not Vampirella per se, but Vampi is supposed to be a future Vampirella of sorts ...

... and there is no denying that these are great renditions of Vampi!

It must be something to do with the genes - Garrett's older brother Scott is also an artist!
