As in Vengeance of Vampirella 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 19.

This is a shortened text version of the story arc running through Vengeance of Vampirella 14-19 giving an insight into Madelene and Madek, the Progeny and, of course, Vampirella.

It was quite a clever idea to present it in prose (with alternate pages showing splash artwork from the series) as an introduction for new readers. The text story gives you an idea of the background to the series but leaves you wanting for the artwork, which has always been one of the strong points of Vampirella from day one!
